How do I cancel my subscription?

iOS (App Store): Open the doot app → SettingsManage subscription. This opens Apple’s native subscription sheet where you can cancel. You can also cancel from Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on the device. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

Web (app.dootit.com): Open app.dootit.comSettingsSubscriptionCancel. Cancellation routes through Paddle and takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

How do I delete my account?

Open the doot app → SettingsDelete account. This permanently removes your tasks, lists, profile, and other application data. The action is irreversible. Data may persist in our encrypted backups for up to seven (7) days, after which it is removed in the ordinary course of backup rotation. See our Privacy Policy for details.

I’m on a free trial — when will I be charged?

The annual subscription includes a 14-day free trial. You will be charged on day 14, when the trial ends, unless you cancel before then. You can cancel anytime during the trial by following the steps above — no charge will be made if you cancel before day 14.

I forgot my password

doot uses passwordless sign-in. On the sign-in screen, enter your email — we’ll send you a one-time code. No password to forget.

How do I export my data?

Email us at aditya@humandspark.com with the subject “Data Export Request.” We’ll send you a machine-readable copy of all your data within 30 days, as required by GDPR / India’s DPDP Act.

I’m having trouble with the brain dump / voice input

Brain dump uses the device microphone for voice input. On iOS, make sure microphone permission is granted: Settings → doot → Microphone. If you’re still hitting issues, write to us with a description of what happens (silence, error message, etc.) and the iOS version you’re on.
